Security Label

DynamicElement and Helvetikett have teamed up to offer a next-generation Security Label that combines Helvetikett’s high-end label manufacturing with DynamicElement’s DeepIS® “surface fingerprint” technology, giving each label a unique, non-reproducible identity. This invisible fingerprint makes counterfeits instantly detectable while enabling product-level traceability and gray-market control. The system is easy to use: consumers or inspectors can verify authenticity with a smartphone.

On top of established physical security features, the Security Label contains surface fingerprints powered by DynamicElement’s DeepIS® technology.

Using Uniqueness: DeepIS® uses individual surface characteristics like inhomogeneous ink distribution that lead to a unique fingerprint for each Security Label.
Works non-invasively: Each label can hence be uniquely identified. No design adaptions or special ink needed.
Copy-proof: Because of the unique fingerprint, if a label is counterfeited and attached to a product fake, it can be easily identified.
Digital Platform: The solution comes with powerful insights like geography and frequency of use.
Easy-to-use: With just a smartphone, consumers or inspectors can instantly confirm authenticity, protecting brand trust and preventing counterfeit substitution.

Verifiable Product Authenticity

Overt and Covert Security: The Security Label both contains overt and covert security based on DeepIS®. The overt security is in the form of the Swiss Biometric QR Code (SQR®), the covert security in the form of the “Helvetikett” logo. Both elements’ print characteristics are used.
GS1/Digital Product Passport: Our SQR® code is GS1 Digital Link compliant and can be paired with a Digital Product Passport, enabling both brand and consumer protection as well as legal compliance in one step.
